The Art Lot has…Lots of Art
current affairs at the ol' Art Lot
Artist John Bjerklie regards a sculpture that will soon play a video of yet another image of himself in front of more sculpture. Or, at least, that’s how I understood it.
Think the Internet is loaded with a plethora of imagery? Think again. The Art Lot (curated by Parsons instructor Jim Osman) is the site of yet another problem solved; how to fill the City’s most difficult-to-fill art site with something that makes you stop and look. Plus, the artists are like unpaid docents. The title of at least one Bjerklie work: “Do Not Be Afraid.”
