Watch: Williamsburg Documentary “Brooklyn DIY” trailer
A filmmaker named Marcin Ramocki made a funny and sort of controversial film documentary about the Williamsburg art scene–when did it start, end, and, perhaps, die?

…premiered at MoMA earlier this year, and Your Truly was a Talking Head. Watch the trailer ’till the end, and you’ll hear what Ramocki said was the “Voice of Reason.”
Not hard, that. (I mostly just held still.)
Make your comments below if you saw the film; or, if you’ve loved/felt you’ve lost/still love the ‘Billyburg scene. Would be interested to hear how all this pans out for you.
Now, folks, as long as we’re watching videos, let’s clear our minds with a few moments of James Turrell:

Is this more where we’re at these Recession Days? Waiting, looking up, wondering what comes next? Timeless artworks: you can rely on them to reflect the time You’re In Now–and not just their Own Time.
