Prodigal critic returns
My first visit to the Brooklyn Museum post ‘GO!.’
The lobby is a place to contemplate struggles of all stripe. I went for the Bruce High Quality opening.
but found works of deeper meaning on other floors.
A nice heart-to-heart with one of the contemporary curators was restorative of my faith in dialogue.
And of course, the Bruces don’t have sollipsism all sewn up.
Let’s see how this many-hour visit shakes down. A review full of vitriol? A really great interview on curatorial practice?
Was good to spend so much time seeing art there, again.
