Hi Sarah,
I was down at Zucotti Park this past Sunday and had the same thought about it being like an outdoor University. Among other things I sat in and listened to a group discussing what they termed “Radical Economics.” They meet every Sunday from noon until 2 or there about. If you’re interested in learning more about economics – from inflation and how it effects employment levels / interest rates to Marx’s theories about isolation in capitalistic, consumer culture – or if you want to discuss possible solutions to this countries political, economic, spiritual crisis, then this is a great place to start. These guys are economics and finance professors/professionals! Anyway, I was happy to see you post something about the educational atmosphere that’s existing there, now that things have calmed down. I hope you have been well.

just saw this. Thanks Sarah! Really cool, especially in this heat. i am working on another version of this project at Parker’s Box gallery this summer. Really happy you enjoyed the ArtLot show. It was a great thing to do and the people in the neighborhood were wonderful!
